Product Care
General
All products at IRONVAN living collection are interior decoration for indoor used only. Please ensure that your furniture is used as it was intended. The location of your furniture can affect its longevity. When placing your furniture, please avoid too close to radiator, heater or somewhere can create moisture build-up. Protect from direct sunlight that direct exposure to sunlight will cause timber, leather and fabrics to fade and may also cause excessive drying. Sharp objects such as buckles, rings and even the claws of your pets can tear, scratch or break the furniture.
Timber/Wooden Veneer with Lacquered finishes
Always use protective heat coverings to protect against hot objects. Regularly clean surface by wiping with a non-abrasive damp cloth to remove spills. Although our timber collections are water-resistant and heat-resistant which do not mean you can cook on your table or soak in water.
Bamboo
Care free as it is, regularly clean with a non-abrasive damp cloth to remove all dirt.
Sintered Stone Slate
Regularly clean surface with a non-abrasive damp cloth, care free product.
Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) board
It is a washable product that very much easy to clean regularly. Please handle with care to avoid scratching or board chipped damage.
Upholstery: Leather & Fabric
Leather: Most leathers generally do not need much day-to-day maintenance – periodic dusting with a soft, dry cloth should be enough. It is important to avoid placing leather product near heat sources or direct sunlight and sharp objects.
Fabric: If thread becomes loose on the fabric, simply cut it off. Do not pull it. Dust is best removed using your vacuum cleaner with the appropriate attachment. Avoid harsh brushing and sharp objects (rings, buckles, toys) as it will cause snagging of threads.
Metal, Chrome & Aluminium Alloy
Dust the surface regularly to avoid build-up of pollutants, which may cause the surface to rust. Avoid using abrasives.
Glass
Glass and/or mirrored surfaces require low maintenance. A weekly wipe with a slightly damp chamois is sufficient. Glue and pencil marks can be removed by applying some Eucalyptus oil with a soft cloth.
